Kirk child's silver

A few years back, Carol Bottoms and her husband visited Rose Hill. They had been close friends with Bill Kirk's father, William Whitfield Kirk, Jr. On October 23, 2013, she sent the silver shown in the photo to Robin White with the following note: "...I came across the silver knife and fork that Bill Kirk used as a child and wondered if you would like it for the museum. Bill gave it to me about 35 years ago for my son, William Whitfield Bottoms to use when he was a child. I had the spoon as well, but it was lost on a trip (I used it daily to feed my son). ...I thought it would be just one more thing that you could display that belonged to Bill. Fondly, Carol.
