Lilla Kirk China

MARK & GUTHERZ CARLSBAD AUSTRIA PORCELAIN This 19th century vegetable server & soup tureen are 2 of 3 pieces of Lilla Kirk china, donated as museum pieces by Mrs. Cynthia Glendinning, great granddaughter of Lilla Kirk. It is thought to be "wedding china" to Lilla Kirk from her father Dr. James Kirk because of cursive writing on bottom of the platter (shown in next photo). Mrs. Cynthia Glendinning & her husband presently live in the Rose Hill Plantation Equestrian community and the chairs belonged to her great grandmother Lilla Kirk (Dr. James Kirk's daughter). Dr. James Kirk was the son of James Brown Kirk and brother of Caroline Kirk (and cousin of Dr. John Kirk).
