Leopard Print Chair matches settee

This 19th Century leopard print chair is a mate to the Lilla Kirk furniture set, all with a carved horseshoe surrounding a rose on top back easily seen in the photo). Donated by Mrs. Cynthia Glendinning, great granddaughter of Lilla Kirk. It is Aesthetic (Victorian) style and dates to the 1870s/1880s. It belonged to the Kirk family and was donated as a museum item by Mrs. Cynthia Glendinning, a direct descendant of Dr. James Kirk and great granddaughter of Mrs. Mary Elizabeth (Lilla) Kirk Martin.
