Rose Hill Plantation House, which is the original plantation home, is located on twelve landscaped acres in the upscale, gated equestrian community, "Rose Hill Plantation." Centrally located, the home is six miles west of the bridge to Hilton Head Island, thirty miles from historic Savannah, Georgia, and eighty miles from historic Charleston, South Carolina. Views overlook the polo field, a reflecting pond and the marshes of the Colleton River, abundant with herons and egrets. An expansive lawn with giant live oaks and Spanish moss complete the breathtaking scenery. From I-95, take the "Hilton Head, Hwy 278" exit. Rose Hill Plantation is approximately 10 miles from I-(95). Exit left off 278, at Gate House for Equestrian Side (Golf side is on right of highway). See 2nd Map below for directions from Gate House to the Plantation House.
